In the event Worthersee Festival which was held on 17-19 May, the SEAT issued their latest race car concept, named the SEAT Leon Cup Racer.

The interior of the SEAT Leon Cup Racer is also ready for the track. Systematic approach to weight reduction and carefully define the minimalist interior of the car, which is protected by a high-strength roll cage. Bucket seats with head HANS protection system also offers optimum security. It is coated with specially developed skin that is very good at regulating humidity. Form the basis of the series-production cockpit is retained, although race car driver information and control are concentrated strongly on multi-function steering wheel and high resolution TFT screen behind it, ensuring that the driver always keep maximum control over his racing machine.
For the exterior appearance, the car was given a matte gray metallic color with orange accents.

Seat Leon Cup Racer is equipped with engine 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder-powered 330 hp. So it has a maximum output of 330 hp / 243 kW and a maximum torque of 350 Newton meters. Power transmission to the front wheels is handled by a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox is controlled from the steering wheel and electronically controlled differential lock.

The car is scheduled to be sold at a price of around 70,000 euros for the touring version and 95,000 euros for the endurance version (expandable with sequential gearbox and a mechanical diff).
